I was born in 1985 in Ankara/TURKEY. I finished primary and high school in Ankara. It was the year 2003 when I started my university education in Computer Engineering Department at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon/TURKEY. After of foreign language preparatory class, my actual engineering education was started and lasted for 4 years. I spent one year in Halmstad University, Halmstad/SWEDEN as an exchange student. Besides my fluent English, I have basic knowledge of Swedish. I really like to visit cultural and historical places around the world. I had the chance to visit some cities of France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Spain and Denmark during my abroad education. Moreover, I like playing football, watching football match at stadium, going to cinema and theatre, watching Family Guy and Simpsons and playing chess.

My professional interests: Image Processing, Artificial Neural Networks and Web Programming.

My Professional Life

When someone asked me about my dream job, the answer was always being computer programmer/engineer except my childhood period:P. The reason why I like computer that much was being cognizant of Internet as well as my special interest in arcade. My first computer was bought when I started high school. I was interested in programming and web design in those years as a hobby.

My interest in computer programming extremely increased by the year 2003 when I started university. I was generally working on C language and ASP at that time. I developed programlamarehberi.com which is programming portal in Turkish. I spent following two years by learning different disciplines in Computer Science. 2006 was the year when something rapidly changed in my life. I decided to go abroad as an exchange student. My destination was Halmstad which is a small town in SWEDEN. Halmstad University has project oriented educational system which fortunately forced me to prepare number of projects within different fields including Computer Security, Parallel Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Networks, Image Analysis, System Engineering, Object Oriented Programming, Web Programming and even in Matlab. I learned and improved myself in technologies like PHP, Perl, CSS, Java, Matlab and Linux. Java has different place in those technologies for me. “Java is the programming language that I am really so much pleased to work.”

I returned back to TURKEY in 2007 summer. I spent last year of my education to become a professional in computer science since the graduation was quite close. I developed many applications in Java in my last year. Those include Server-Client programming, Real-time Image Processing, Computer Graphics and Artificial Neural Netwoks. “Camera based virtual piano application” was my bachelor thesis subject.
